Ways to Conserve Water

Conserve water, so it is available for those in need! When you think about clean water, the first thing that pops in your mind is rain water. Isn’t that, right? Saving this water and utilizing it can be beneficial in multiple ways. For instance, it can be used for household purposes. As you all know, it rains a lot in Pakistan especially in monsoon season. Frequent rain means, a lot of saved water. So, start investing in canals on your rooftops rather sooner than later.



A short shower won’t harm you but will help those experiencing the lack of clean water. Rather than wasting it by taking long showers, its preferred to use buckets as a lot of water is conserved. This could also be done by turning off the tap while brushing your teeth. Make sure to reuse water wherever you can. Such little gestures and actions count.

Living in Pakistan has taught us to live with leakages, dripping pipes and hoses. This has ought to change in order to make a difference. Water is wasted when it’s dripping continuously for days and no one tends to it. Whenever you see a leakage in your house, make sure to fix it as soon as possible.



Lastly, getting an energy efficient washing machine will help in saving water as they use 25% less energy and 33% less water. When this happens, you are automatically consuming a smaller amount of water while doing laundry.
